1973 850 Norton Long Rod Café

Rick's 1973 Norton Long Rod was a basket case when it was originally picked up. It was basically a frame with 1/2 of a motor. Knowing that back in the 70's it was street raced, Rick saw potential for a street racer of the 2000's!

Rick's newly rebuilt Norton Long Rod features a lot of rare Norton parts: for example, the aluminum wheels with only 7 painted spokes. You WON'T find these on any other bike because Norton only made a small handful of them.

Here's the deets on this sweet ride: The motor is modified with a LONG ROD kit, Mega-cycle 2S camshaft, steel rods, dynamically balanced crankshaft, twin Mikuni carburetors, Tri-spark ignition, primary belt drive, one-thirty rear wheel, custom oil-in-frame tank, all lights are LED, custom seat & paint job, large header pipes, super trap exhaust, 80mm stainless steel Hagan shocks, Atlas front fork tubes, and so much more it would make your head spin!

This baby has 3500 miles on it so far, and it just keeps going faster and faster.
